10–80% time = (battery × 0.7) ÷ average kW. Real sessions vary with battery temperature, state-of-charge, charger sharing and ambient conditions.
Peak kW is misleading
Manufacturers quote peak power, but it's only sustained for seconds. The average across 10–80% is what determines your actual coffee-stop length.
800V cars charge faster
Hyundai/Kia E-GMP, Porsche, Audi Q6/Macan and Lucid use 800V architecture, sustaining 150–200 kW for most of the curve.
Pre-condition the battery
If your EV has battery pre-conditioning, navigate to the charger in the car's nav. Cold packs can halve charging speed.
