Range calculator

How far will your EV actually go?

Adjust temperature, speed, terrain and load to estimate real-world range — not the optimistic WLTP figure on the brochure.

Your EV & trip

Why is real-world range lower than WLTP?

Speed is the biggest factor

Aerodynamic drag grows with the square of speed. Going from 90 to 130 km/h can cut range by 25–35%.

Cold weather hits twice

The battery is less efficient AND you run cabin heating. Expect 20–35% less range at -5°C.

WLTP is a lab cycle

WLTP averages 47 km/h with mild temperatures and no HVAC. Real motorway driving is much harder.

Pre-condition before fast charging

Warming the pack on the way to a DC charger keeps charging speeds high — and saves you 10–15 minutes per stop.
